"It’s a Grand Night for Singing!," presented by University of Kentucky Opera Theatre, will return for its 17th year of showstopping performances in June. Don't miss your chance to have a "Grand Night" at one of the summer's biggest arts events known for its performances that highlight many of Hollywood and Broadway's most beloved tunes. "Grand Night," a popular town and gown event featuring many of the most talented voices of UK and the Bluegrass, returns to the Singletary Center for the Arts Concert Hall stage for six performances. The program will be presented at 7:30 p.m. June 12, 13, 19 and 20; Sunday matinees will be presented at 2 p.m. June 14 and 21.

Alumni Distinguished Service Award Recipients Announced
The 2009 recipients are Ted Arlinghaus, Susan Mountjoy, Dr. John Clements, Tonya Bumm Parsons, and W. Cleland White III. Marsha Wallis, the 2008 recipient, was also honored.
